Step 1
Remove the magnets from the armrest and note the polarity of each magnet (which side of the magnet attracts to the inside of the armrest). The magnets are extremely strong so keep them away from any metal objects, film, cell phones, etc. The magnets will want to attract each other so be careful to avoid bodily injury. Place the armrest on the lower bout of the instrument. Adjust the armrest so it aligns with the curve of the lower bout (fig. 1).
