Purchase Agreement

All instruments created by Kris Barnett are individually handcrafted to the specifications defined in the Order Form and are agreed upon by the maker and the purchaser.

A non-refundable deposit of €500 secures the price of the instrument and your place on the build schedule. The remainder of the agreed upon price is due upon completion of the instrument and must be received prior to shipment.

The instrument has a 3 day evaluation period in which it may be returned, in its original condition, minus the initial deposit. However, the purchaser is responsible for ALL applicable shipping, handling, insurance, duties, and customs charges for shipment both ways. Arrangements must be made in writing before the instrument is returned to the maker. If the instrument is not returned in its original condition the cost of restoration will be deducted from the total refund.

Each instrument carries a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship. This warranty pertains ONLY to the original purchaser and does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper handling, accidental damage, extreme climate conditions (e.g. extreme humidity, extreme temperature), etc. All repairs must be completed by the maker and any repairs not made by the maker voids the warranty. The warranty does not cover the finish on the instrument, worn strings, frets, saddles, bridges, or tuning machines. The included case is not guaranteed in any manner under this contract, but may be covered by the manufacturer. All warranty claims and repairs are left to the sole discretion of the maker.

Shipping costs and any taxes, fees, and insurance is the responsibility of the customer and is due before the guitar is shipped.

Estimated date of completion is subject to change without notice and is set merely as a guideline. Every effort will be made to complete the instrument in a timely manner.

I agree to the conditions and terms set forth in the above agreement.

Thanks for submitting!
